Yes! The VIP dice set will NOT show up in the BackerKit survey lists, but will be included during fulfillment and shipping.

Why is shipping being charged at a later date?
There are many factors in the world that are making it difficult to nail down shipping costs. The prices today may change by the time we are ready to ship. If they’re higher than now, that’d put us in a bad spot, and if they end up being lower than now it wouldn’t be fair to over-charge you.
So, we’ll hold off and wait to calculate and charge the shipping until very soon before we mail out the physical goods. We apologize for the extra step, but it’s all in service of charging fair prices.

Can I get add-ons with a digital-only tier?
Absolutely! When you fill out the Backerkit survey you’ll be able to choose add-ons. Just be aware that all physical goods will be shipped around October, 2025. And that there is a shipping charge for all physical goods.

You will be able to choose Roll20 or Foundry VTT when you fill out the backer survey.

Can the Widow's Web be played with fewer than 8 players?
Yes! The book has a section on how to adjust each Web for 7, 6, and 5 players.

Is the Widow's Web 5e 2024 compatible?
Yes it is! 2014 or 2024 characters can be used, but all characters in a play through should be from the same edition.

I signed up for the VIP dice set, do I need to add them?
No need! In fact, the VIP dice are not available as an add-on (they are exclusive to those that signed up early).
We will be adding them during shipping to the bundles of all VIP backers.
Make sure the email address you used for the VIP dice is the same that you use for Kickstarter. If they are different, send an email to [email protected]. Let us know which address you used for VIP and which you used for KS and we can adjust our records.

The stretch goal rewards aren't listed on all the tiers, do I still get them?
All tiers that include the “All-In Bundle” as part of their rewards include all stretch goals. All other tiers list only the stretch goals included in the tier.

Are the players who are eliminated early done playing?
It’s a fair question! In short, the players eliminated early are done playing, BUT in all our playtests, the first one to fall ALWAYS stuck around to see the rest of the Web unfold. Even if you’re not in the mix, it’s still highly entertaining! (Plus, the first room lasts about 2 hours, and 120 minutes of high octane play isn’t too shabby).
We’ve been playing the Web in a home game form for 20 years and we’ve seen it again and again. Players keep coming back (myself included, I’ve died twice in the first room over the 9 years I’ve been in the game) and the first person out almost always sticks around. To see what the challenges are and/or to root for or against their friends and frienemies.

What is BackerKit?
BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!
The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.
How does BackerKit work?
After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.
I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?
As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
