Backer Surveys! FIll 'em Out!
Hello all you abyssal adventurers!
An impressive 78% of you have filled out your surveys and snagged some add-ons in the past week and we love you for it. You are all champions.
But that leaves 22% of y'all who are still potential champions. We urge you to click your survey link and fill it out! We need those numbers to really get going on the manufacturing.
If you have not seen a survey link (or lost it in the black hole of your inbox), email us at karl@trialsofthedrow and tell us the name and email you used to pledge on KickStarter. We can re-send the survey so you can get to it.

All backer surveys from BackerKit are sent! Be sure to check your inboxes! The emails are from "Eight-Legged Entertainment" and the subject line is:
Response Needed — Get your reward for The Widow's Web: Trials of the Drow - A Competitive 5e Mode
You'll be able to add-on pieces to get anything you had your eye on or to double up on anything you want extra copies of.
If you were a VIP who opted for the exclusive dice set, it will NOT show up in your BackerKit survey. Do not fear! The VIP dice will be added during the packaging. We are running that through our fulfillment partners at time of shipping.
While the actual ship date is many months away, it's good to fill out the survey as soon as you can to ensure we have accurate info and that we can shake out any issues you may have.
Shipping will be charged at a later date to allow us to get the most accurate prices closer to the shipping date, as discussed in an earlier update.
The project it ticking along as expected. We are only 1 piece of art away from being done with the Web 2 layout! Stay tuned for more sneak peeks of the images our artists are creating.
Backer Surveys: Two Stages! - Jan. 21st, 2025 Update

Hello hello!
The day has come for Backer Surveys! This will happen in two stages.
First, the "Smoke Test" was sent out mere minutes before this update. That means the survey has been sent to 5% of our backers to try and shake out any issues. The backers in the smoke test are chosen at random, so you may or may not see a survey right away. We'll be checking in frequently to se if any problems have arisen.
Second, we'll send the survey out to everyone. The timing will depend on the results of the smoke test. I don't anticipate big issues, but will send another update when it is sent out (or to inform you if there is any significant delay).
So! Don't worry if you don't see a survey early on. Here we go!
Surveys Launching on Tuesday (sorry about that) - Jan. 16th, 2025 Update

Hello Malarachne's minions!
I come to you now, humbled, with news that the backer surveys are delayed until Tuesday the 21st.
I could blame it on BackerKit, but they've been great, it's not their fault.
The thing is, I went and scheduled a vacation in Seattle to playtest Web 1 with friends using the 2024 rules. I also happen to be the one who has all the BackerKit knowledge and we don't want to launch the surveys into the wilds without me being present and focused in case any issues arise.
So! The surveys are ready, locked and loaded, but for safety's sake I'm going to wait until I'm back home before hitting the launch button. I shoulda known better, and I'm sorry to have hyped it up just to yank it back.
Thank you for your patience, we just want to make sure we're as responsive as we can be during this important milestone.
Backer Surveys Coming Soon! - January 13th, 2025 Update

Howdy folks! First a warning that you'll get a few email updates this week to keep you up to date on the Backer Surveys going out this week! I hope the excitement of having this major milestone reached will be enough to forgive us the multiple emails.
I've submitted the surveys to BackerKit for review today and they need (up to) a few days to review. If they're clean and don't need much work then I expect to hit "SEND" by Thursday or Friday.
If we have to do some re-working that may add time. Fingers crossed!
I'll send an update when we hear back from them, whether that's "OK, sending now!" or "Whoops, gotta fix something."
The surveys will collect your shipping address AND give you a chance to purchase any add-ons you may want to throw into your order.
And remember, Shipping costs will be calculated and charged later, much closer to when we actually ship (planning for Oct. 2025) so we can get the most accurate pricing to you.
I cannot wait to get this book into your hot hands and to hear your experiences in Malarachne's devious Web! And this brings us that much closer...
